40,000: Darktide gamescom opening movie

Today, indie developer Fatshark released the opening night video for its four-player co-op game, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

The Opening Night Live video shows a grim picture of what the player may or may not expect upon entering the hive city of Tertium: no help. There was no reinforcement. You are Tertium’s last defense. You’re a pro, but the reason that’s all is that you and your crew are the same crew everyone relies on. No pressure, just pure real life in the truest sense of the word Warhammer 40,000.

Create your character, choose your class, defeat the enemies facing your nightmares and level up, build the loadout and prepare for the next battle.

Fatshark and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’s are at Gamescom in Cologne this week. Darktide is played in Exhibit Hall 7 at the Infinite booth level. Anyone unable to attend the show can register at www.playdarktide.com for a chance to have a hands-on experience in the near future.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be released on PC on November 30. The pre-order will be live and two versions are available for purchase.
