Paranormal activity is a supernatural horror franchise that premiered in 2007. However, it didn’t get wide circulation until 2009. Its box office grossed a worldwide total of $ 193 million against a budget of $ 15,000. This kicked off the further development of Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions. The company makes low-cost horror films that bring in big profits.

Paranormal activity inspired four sequels and a spin-off. Paranormal activity 3 marked the financial peak of the franchise. Subsequent installments failed to reach the same heights at the box office. 2015 Paranormal activity: The phantom dimension marked the last installment for a while. However, Paranormal activity: next of kin seeks to breathe new life into the franchise.

Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin Trailer Exposes New Demon

The JoBlo YouTube Channel downloaded the Paranormal activity: next of kin full length trailer. Some footage from the trailer is repeated, but there’s an abundance of new footage for you to check out.

Margot (Emily Bader) is a documentary filmmaker. She enters an isolated Amish community in hopes of meeting her long-lost mother and learning more about her extended family. However, something about this community seems grim.

The community seems to lead a simple and quiet life. However, the trailer interrupts the silence with disturbing footage, spooky children, and an ominous church starring the demon Asmodeus. Further research proves that this entity was trapped within the chosen woman of God. It’s clear that the new installment focuses on a new demon, which gives the film more options that don’t build on the previous films.

Paranormal activity: next of kin seems to get even scarier with a loud bang and a dark tunnel that leads underground. The video ends with a beast growl and something quickly approaching the camera before it goes black.

Paranormal activity: next of kin jumps to Paramount + on October 29. Audiences initially expected the film to air in theaters similar to previous installments. However, several horror films, including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Hellraiser go to direct streaming services. Horror fans won’t have to wait too long to see how the new installment revives the franchise.
