Sonic 2: Movie Trailer Coming Tomorrow, New Poster Released



Paramount Pictures has unveiled the latest poster for Sonic the Hedgehog 2: The Movie. However, this is not all. The studio also revealed that a new trailer for the film will launch tomorrow, December 9.

As shared on Twitter, Paramount showed off the first poster of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie sequel. In the tweet, the company also announced that the world premiere of the film’s new trailer will be released at the Game Awards tomorrow. The movie poster shows Sonic and Tails as they attempt to escape Jim Carrey’s Dr. Robotnik in a high-octane plane chase over an urban city below.

Recently, Tails voice actress Colleen O’Shaughnessey announced that she will return to play Sonic’s sidekick when the film releases on April 8, 2022. O’Shaughnessey is the newest English voice actor. to play as Tails, having played the character in the 2014 Sonic Boom TV series and Sonic Boom video games.

“Take my old pal Tails on another adventure,” O’Shaughnessey said on Twitter. “Glad to announce that I’m the voice of Miles” Tails “Prower in # SonicMovie2! I can’t wait for you all to see him on the big screen.” The voice actor also portrayed Tails during an end credits scene for the original live-action film Sonic the Hedgehog, where the character was seen trying to find Sonic’s location.

In addition to O’Shaughnessey, the film will also feature a number of other notable stars. Ben Schwartz is set to return as the voice of Sonic, Jim Carrey will play Dr. Robotnik, and Idris Elba will make his debut as Knuckles the Echidna.

Despite being voted the sexiest man of 2018, the Luther and MCU actor said he wouldn’t try to make the echidna “sexy” during an interview about Knuckles’ characterization earlier. This year. “Contractually, I can’t say anything,” he said when asked about the subject. “But I wouldn’t say he was sexy. I don’t think I’m going for that. That’s for sure.”
