Rick and Mortuary jumped into the trap.
If you like scary games, you might have heard of a game called The Mortuary Assistant. It officially started this summer. The game has been slammed by critics and streamers alike, and is a treasure trove for scares.
The mortuary assistant caught the attention of people in the entertainment industry. According to a Deadline exclusive, game publisher DreadXP and Epic Pictures Group plan to write a full-screen adaptation. The director of the project is Jeremiah Kipp, who directed the Slapface 2021, also distributed by Epic Pictures Group.
The game has become more than that. She must, in addition to embalming bodies, fight with demons that have been linked to her. There are also sequences where she also has to face the metaphorical demons of her past.
Mortuary Assistant is on the long list of video games coming out in the next few years. It will be interesting to see which film would go into the film. It might be better to see the game’s spooky moments present themselves rather than in the style of found footage, like Blair Witch or Paranormal Activity.
Rebecca’s story is one by one and does not appear at all. A film, I hope, can tell the story in a simpler way.
Mortuary Assistant is now available on PC. The movie starring this game has no release details. This week, DreadXP is expected to come to PAX West and shed some light on this project.
