Vin Diesel warns Marvel about a Groot movie

Groot is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. From his post-credits dance move to his hilarious conversations, Groot has always provided relief in his favorite movie.

Vin Diesel reveals that Marvel wants a movie based on his home planet X.

Recently, Groot appeared in a series of short stories called “I am Groot”. The series begins with the fourth phase and will be on Disney+. Moviegoers, critics, and fans have praised the series and called it one of Disney’s greatest animated shorts.

The production of the animated short was a success: Vin Diesel, the voice behind Groot, revealed that Marvel Studios wanted to produce a film called Planet X, which will be based on Groot’s homeworld.

In a Facebook post, Diesel said, “It was a great brand, but it was great to watch it with my angels. It’s absolutely amazing how Marvel wants to make the Planet X movie.

I am Groot.

Groot stars in his short animated series, “I’m Groot”.

The original Guardians of the Galaxy movie appears on the first screen. Groot belongs to the species ‘flora colossus’ and is known as the last survivor. The wordy, tree-like being is known as a mercenary warrior.

Groot and Rocket attempted to stop Defying Star-Lord, also known as Peter Quill, who was fighting Gamora. They were all arrested and eventually sent to prison. The four formed the Lone Mate with the Destroyer to escape prison and became the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Groot died while protecting his teammates from the Accuser. Rocket plants a sapling which eventually grows into Baby Groot. According to director James Gunn, Baby Groot is a special character. The children are descendants of the original Groot.

When the Jackson 5 features Baby Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy post-credits chanting “I Want You Back”. Groot II has appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume II, Avengers: Endgame, and Thor: Love and Thunder.

A standalone movie for Groot likely won’t be in the Guardians of the Galaxy chapter just yet.

A potentially successful standalone Groot movie seems like a stretch right now. While Marvel Studios has more money, there’s no need for a realistic movie like the Planet X movie, if it’s part of the current multiverse saga. A film would take many years to complete due to a feature rich visual effects.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ends in Marvel’s Phase 4. The second phase of the MCU begins with Yvonne-Man and Wasp: Quantimania and is packed full of movies and TV shows.

Groot will be doing Phase 5 with Guardians of the Galaxy Volume III and Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. The filming of The Holiday Special has been completed and will soon premiere The Holiday Special. Volume III will be released in theaters on May 5, 2023.

Fans of the I am Groot series will also appreciate it, as creator Kirsten Lepore revealed that Groot is dated in five different animated shorts. You can stream animated shorts for I am Groot on Disney+.
